The Van Bulldogs felled the visiting Paden City Wildcats football team by a score of 14-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a Coalfield A challenge, on Friday, October 11. Van will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 24-16 league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV).
The Wildcats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hundred (Hundred, WV). The Hornets go into the Ohio Valley A challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Hundred lost by Southern (Oakland, MD), 40-13, in a non-league challenge.
