The Peoria Lions walloped the visiting Richwoods Knights football team by a score of 66-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions play the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Friday, October 11. Peoria will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Maroons go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 44-31 league loss to Danville (Danville, IL).
