Kansas High School Football - Sedgwick triumphant over Sacred Heart

October 4, 2024: Sedgwick, KS 67135

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Sedgwick Cardinals (Sedgwick, KS) and the visiting Sacred Heart Knights (Salina, KS), witnessed Sedgwick's football squad wallop Sacred Heart by a tally of 39-7.

The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Inman (Inman, KS). The Inman Teutons enter the Heart of America contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Inman was trounced by Marion (Marion, KS), 26-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Bennington Bulldogs (Bennington, KS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 11. Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 43-6 non-league loss to Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS).
