The Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) football trounced the visiting South Delta Bulldogs (Rolling Fork, MS), 38-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Blue Devils now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Leland for a 1A Region 5 outing on Friday, October 11. Simmons will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 34-22 league win over West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS). The Cubs record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, South Delta drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS) to clash with the Choctaws in a 1A Region 5 outing on Friday, October 11. The Choctaws come into the outing with a record of 5-1. West Tallahatchie won 54-8 in their recent league outing against Shaw (Shaw, MS)
