The Watts Engineers felled the visiting South Coffeyville Lions football team by a score of 44-16 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Engineers face the Oaks-Mission Warriors (Oaks, OK) in a C District 3 (8 Man) challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Watts will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 44-8 non-league loss to Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK).
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Welch (Welch, OK). The Wildcats go into the C District 3 (8 Man) challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Welch toppled Billings (Billings, OK), 48-0, in a league challenge.
