Nebraska High School Football - Wakefield overwhelmed by Tri County Northeast

In Friday's league game, the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack (Emerson, NE) football team triumphed over the host Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE), by a score of 48-13.

In their next game, the Wolfpack face the Homer Knights (Homer, NE) in a D1 District 2 (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 11. Tri County Northeast will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 42-0 league loss to Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE).

The Trojans now have a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pender for a D1 District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. Wakefield will play a Pendragons team coming off a 34-14 league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Pendragons record now stands at 4-2.
