Wynot Blue Devils (Wynot, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE), 50-8 in a league battle.

With the win, Wynot advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Winside (Winside, NE) to play the Wildcats in a D2 District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Winside lost 70-22 in their recent league battle against Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE)

The Blujays now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Randolph for a D2 District 2 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 11. Walthill will play a Cardinals team coming off a 63-6 league loss to Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-6.
