In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wetumka Chieftains football squad scored a good 32-7 triumph over the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs.
The Chieftains (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Alex (Alex, OK). The Longhorns come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Alex was beaten by Empire (Duncan, OK), 70-24, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Copan Hornets (Copan, OK) in a B-II District 4 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 11. Wesleyan Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 58-7 non-league win over Olive (Drumright, OK).
