Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) and the host New London Whalers (New London, CT), saw St. Bernard's soccer squad triumph over New London by a count of 6-0.

The Saints (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the Eastern Connecticut III battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Killingly was overwhelmed by Fitch (Groton, CT), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Whalers battle the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut IV battle, on Wednesday, October 9. New London will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Whippets enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Bolton (Bolton, CT).
