The Columbine Rebels football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Denver East Angels to 21 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arvada West for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Columbine will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 30-22 non-league win over Denver South (Denver, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, Denver East drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Angels host Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to meet the Chargers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 4-1. Chatfield lost 29-0 in their recent non-league test against Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO)
