California High School Football - Concord tops Encinal

The Concord Bears football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Encinal Jets to 16 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Diablo for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Concord will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Castlemont (Oakland, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Encinal drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Jets host Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA) to meet the Dons in a test on Friday, October 18. The Dons come into the test with a record of 3-0.
