Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), 20-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Jefferson advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Grizzlies host Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA) to play the Matadors in a battle on Friday, October 18. The Matadors go into the battle with a record of 0-5.
The Pioneers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Kathleen MacDonald for a battle on Friday, October 11. Cupertino will play a Condor team coming off a 15-6 league win over Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Condor record now stands at 2-3.
