Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Madison Warhawks (San Diego, CA), 28-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Point Loma advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pointers travel to Lincoln (San Diego, CA) to play the Hornets in a battle on Friday, October 11. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Lincoln won 40-7 in their recent non-league battle against West Hills (Santee, CA)

The Warhawks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host St. Augustine for a battle on Friday, October 11. Madison will play a Saints team coming off a 35-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Saints record now stands at 2-5.
