Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) and the host Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY), saw Delaware Valley's soccer squad hold off Warwick by a count of 2-1.

The Warriors (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Minisink Valley was edged by Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 7. Warwick will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Gladiators enter the battle with a 9-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY).
