Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Saratoga Springs moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to meet the Flying Dutchmen in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Flying Dutchmen come into the test with a record of 4-4. Guilderland won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY)

The Spartans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Shaker for a non-league test on Monday, October 7. Queensbury will meet a Bison team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Bison record now stands at 4-0.
