Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Centralia moves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Orphans travel to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-15.

The Indians now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anthony for a National Trail test on Saturday, October 5. Altamont will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-8.
