Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) and the visiting Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC), saw Wesleyan Christian Academy's soccer squad triumph over Ledford by a count of 6-0.

The Trojans (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars enter the NCISAA Piedmont battle with a 9-5 record.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Monday, October 7. Ledford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Blue Comets enter the battle with a 13-2 record after their 7-1 league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC).
