The Shepard Astros prevailed the visiting Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Astros confront the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 5. Shepard will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Meteors enter the game with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL).
