Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bishop O'Dowd advances its record to 10-10 on the season. The Dragons host Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to face the Highlanders in a West Alameda County - Foothill test on Tuesday, October 8. The Highlanders go into the test with a record of 1-10. Piedmont lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Encinal (Alameda, CA)

The Eagles now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrada Polytechnic for a 3A - South test on Monday, October 7. Thatcher will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-7.
