Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) and the host Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN), observed Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's volleyball team top Central Minnesota Christian by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Arrows enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Watertown defeated Brookings (Brookings, SD), 3-2, in a league bout.

With the loss, Central Minnesota Christian drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Worthington (Worthington, MN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, October 4. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 8-14. Worthington lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN)
