Arizona High School Volleyball - Hamilton over Mica Mountain

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ) and the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ), observed Hamilton's volleyball team top Mica Mountain by a count of 2-0.

The Huskies (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Mater Dei notched a victory over JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Thunderbolts battle the Tampa Prep Terrapins (Tampa, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Mica Mountain will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record. The Terrapins enter the contest with a 5-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ).
