In Friday's league challenge, the host Triton Cobras volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Hayfield Vikings.
The Cobras (15-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints enter the non-league challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles was beaten by La Crescent (La Crescent, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Hayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN).
