The Morgan Park Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thornwood for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. Morgan Park will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-14.

With the loss, Hyde Park drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Kelly (Chicago, IL) to play the Trojans in a Chicago Public Green South outing on Wednesday, October 9. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 7-8. Kelly won 2-0 in their recent league outing against King (Chicago, IL)
