The Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) volleyball held off the host McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Sioux now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cheyenne-Eagle Butte for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. Lower Brule will clash with a Braves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Braves record now stands at 6-7.
