In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Malad Dragons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Ririe Bulldogs.

The Dragons (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Grace (Grace, ID). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Grace was beaten by West Side (Dayton, ID), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Ririe will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sky View (Smithfield, UT).
