In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Notre Dame Pioneers.

The Wolverines (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Haynes Academy got by Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Tarpons enter the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA).
