In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pine Ridge Thorpes volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wakpala Sioux.
The Thorpes (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Bennett County (Martin, SD). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, Bennett County beat Wakpala (Wakpala, SD), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sioux meet the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks (Ridgeview, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Wakpala will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Thunderhawks enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD).
