The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers volleyball team (Rock Hill, SC), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC)

The Mavericks (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Woodmont beat T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers face the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 11-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC).
