Maryland High School Football - Archbishop Carroll knocked off by Bishop McNamara

October 4, 2025: Forestville, MD 20747

In Saturday's non-league game, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) football team overcame the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), by a margin of 35-18.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Gonzaga for a outing on Saturday, October 11. Bishop McNamara will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Archbishop Carroll drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. The Crusaders enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Riverdale Baptist lost 43-6 in their recent non-league contest against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD)
