Colorado High School Football - Bethune triumphant over Mountain Valley

October 4, 2025: Saguache, CO 81149

Spectators at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bethune Bobcats (Bethune, CO) and the host Mountain Valley Wolves (Saguache, CO), saw Bethune's football team bounce Mountain Valley by a final score of 48-7.

With the win, Bethune advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Hanover (Colorado Springs, CO) to encounter the Hornets in a A-6 Central (6 Man) bout on Friday, October 10. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Wolves now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Primero for a A-6 Southwest (6 Man) bout on Saturday, October 11. Mountain Valley will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-7 league loss to Sierra Grande (Blanca, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
