Bishop Guertin Cardinals (Nashua, NH) boosters were happy Saturday as they witnessed their football squad topple the visiting Nashua North Titans (Nashua, NH), 51-27 in a league match.

The Cardinals (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers enter the Division I - West match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Nashua South prevailed over Keene (Keene, NH), 47-7, in a non-league battle.

The Titans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bedford for a Division I - West battle on Friday, October 10. Nashua North will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
