The McCluer Comets football team (Florissant, MO), was crushed 63-6 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO)

With the win, Lafayette advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lancers travel to Eureka (Eureka, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a St. Louis Suburban - Yellow contest on Friday, October 10. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 5-1. Eureka won 28-7 in their recent non-league contest against Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO)

Coming up next, the Comets confront the Parkway Central Colts (Chesterfield, MO) in a St. Louis Suburban - Green match, on Saturday, October 11. McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 51-0 non-league loss to Ladue Horton Watkins (St. Louis, MO).
