The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE) and the host Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE), witnessed Lake Forest's football squad edge Sussex Tech by a tally of 26-21.
The Spartans (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Delmar (Delmar, DE). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 3 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Delmar got by Early College (Dover, DE), 45-6, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Ravens confront the Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Sussex Tech will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 18-0 league loss to Newark (Newark, DE).
