The Newfield Wolverines football squad scored 28 points and limited the host West Babylon Eagles to 7 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northport for a Section 11 Division II challenge on Saturday, October 11. Newfield will face a Tigers team coming off a 33-6 league win over Deer Park (Deer Park, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Centereach (Centereach, NY). The Cougars come into the Section 11 Division II outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Centereach was knocked off by Copiague (Copiague, NY), 27-17, in a league game.
