In Saturday's league match, the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders football team scored a big 59-7 win over the Pen Argyl Green Knights.

With the win, Notre Dame-Green Pond improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Palisades (Kintnersville, PA) to play the Pirates in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B battle on Friday, October 10. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Palisades won 41-6 in their recent league battle against Palmerton (Palmerton, PA)

The Green Knights now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Saucon Valley for a Colonial-Schuylkill - B test on Saturday, October 11. Pen Argyl will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 40-13 league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
