Connecticut High School Football - Wilby edged by Seymour

October 4, 2025: Waterbury, CT 06704

In Saturday's non-league game, the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) football squad tipped the host Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT), by a margin of 89-83.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wolcott for a Naugatuck Valley - Tier 1 outing on Friday, October 10. Seymour will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 36-0 non-league win over Derby (Derby, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines enter the Naugatuck Valley - Tier 2 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Oxford was edged by Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT), 58-22, in a non-league game.
