Pennsylvania High School Football - South Allegheny routs Shady Side Academy

October 4, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15238

The South Allegheny Gladiators trounced the host Shady Side Academy Bulldogs football squad by a margin of 62-21 in Saturday's league outing.

The Gladiators now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Apollo Ridge for a WPIAL AA Allegheny outing on Friday, October 10. South Allegheny will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 18-14 league win over Steel Valley (Munhall, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Shady Side Academy falls to 3-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, October 11. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 6-1. Seton LaSalle won 53-0 in their recent league game against Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA)
