Valley Christian Warriors (Oshkosh, WI) boosters were happy Saturday as they witnessed their football squad smash the host Wayland Academy Big Red (Beaver Dam, WI), 51-8 in a non-league match.

The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Montello (Montello, WI). The Hilltoppers go into the Southeast (8 Man) battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Montello was crushed by Oakfield (Oakfield, WI), 49-8, in a league battle.

The Big Red now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Princeton/Green Lake for a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. Wayland Academy will play a Tigers team coming off a 26-2 league loss to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah (Elkhart Lake, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
