Illinois High School Football - De La Salle can't hold off Leo

Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), 6-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Leo advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lions travel to St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 3-3. St. Rita won 44-38 in their recent non-league match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)

Coming up next, the Meteors confront the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. De La Salle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
