In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Lake Zurich Bears football squad scored a decisive 41-0 triumph over the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees.
In their next game, the Bears play the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Lake Zurich will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
The Zee-Bees (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Libertyville triumphed over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 35-18, in a non-league test.
