The Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) football trounced the visiting Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 55-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Knights face the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Prospect will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 26-21 non-league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL).
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers come into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Elk Grove was overwhelmed by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 22-8, in a non-league outing.
