With the win, Buena advances its record to 10-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ventura (Ventura, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 15-5. Ventura lost 31-19 in their recent league battle against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)

The Bulldogs now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Palmdale for a Golden battle on Tuesday, October 7. Highland will play a Falcons team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Knight (Palmdale, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.
