California High School Flag Football - Huntington Beach trounces Buena

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Huntington Beach Oilers flag football squad scored a decisive 46-0 triumph over the Buena Bulldogs.

The Oilers (19-1) will now prepare for their match against Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Channel Islands routed Hueneme (Oxnard, CA), 45-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a Channel battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Buena will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Chargers go into the battle with a 19-2 record after their 31-19 league win over Ventura (Ventura, CA).
