The Corona Panthers flag football team (Corona, CA), dropped 27-7 in Saturday's non-league bout with the host San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA)

With the win, San Pedro advances its record to 16-2 on the season. The Pirates host Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA) to battle the Polar Bears in a Marine contest on Monday, October 6. The Polar Bears enter the contest with a record of 0-8. Port of Los Angeles lost 52-0 in their recent league contest against Banning (Wilmington, CA)

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the King Wolves (Riverside, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. Corona will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 8-7 record after their 33-19 non-league win over Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA).
