California High School Flag Football - Segerstrom sneaks past St. Paul

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Segerstrom Jaguars flag football squad scored a close 20-18 triumph over the St. Paul Swordsmen.
The Jaguars (8-10) will now prepare for their match against Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA). The Hawks come into the Empire match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Laguna Hills was nudged by Fullerton (Fullerton, CA), 24-19, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Swordsmen meet the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Monday, October 6. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 19-0 league loss to Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA).
