Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hanover Area knocks off Carbondale Area

The Hanover Area Hawkeyes smashed the host Carbondale Area Chargers soccer team by a tally of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Hawkeyes clash with the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 game, on Wednesday, October 8. Hanover Area will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 6-7 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA).
The Chargers (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets come into the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Honesdale defeated Montrose (Montrose, PA), 3-1, in a league game.
