The Franklin Panthers football team scored 39 points and held the visiting Algonquin Regional Titans to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 43-0 non-league win over Everett (Everett, MA).

The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Leominster trounced Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA), 18-6, in a non-league outing.
