Colorado High School Football - Pomona defeats Wheat Ridge

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Pomona Panthers football squad scored a good 20-6 victory over the Wheat Ridge Farmers.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO). The Roughriders enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Roosevelt thwarted Ponderosa (Parker, CO), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Farmers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Green Mountain for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Wheat Ridge will play a Rams team coming off a 54-6 non-league loss to Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.
