In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting St. Xavier Bombers football squad scored a good 27-14 win over the Trinity Shamrocks.
With the win, St. Xavier improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bombers travel to La Salle (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Lancers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 4-2.
The Shamrocks now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Ballard for a non-league match on Monday, October 6.
