In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Madison East Purgolders soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the DeForest Norskies.
The Purgolders (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Madison La Follette (Madison, WI). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Norskies clash with the Milton Red Hawks (Milton, WI) in a test, on Tuesday, October 7. DeForest will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record.
